This isn't working for me. I've tried a couple of times to ask a question and build a twttrstrm page, but nothing happens. Just a blank blue screen. I'll find a more intuitive way to get info.

Ah, interesting. I admit I haven't used Twitter before. So just to make a point, you CANNOT place an answer on a 'TwttrStrm' lens if you aren't a member of Twitter. It sends you to Twitter.com to login.

@ Nicole Simon - I do agree with you that many scenarios require permission of use of content from your own copyrighted material. Although in the discussion, as a twitter subscriber and most other content driven social networks, the subscriber must agree to the providers's website terms of use and privacy policy. In this case Twitter clearly states:

"The Twitter service makes it possible to post images and text hosted on Twitter to outside websites. This use is accepted (and even encouraged!). However, pages on other websites which display data hosted on Twitter.com must provide a link back to Twitter."

Therefore aggregating tweets to squidoo is not a violation or infringement upon anyone's content posted to twitter.

You may want to brush up on the topic of agreeing to terms of use and privacy policies when subscribing to a website.

@ Nicole Simon - I really don't think any twitter user will object to their tweets being pulled as content for squidoo, it would be kind of like bloggers objecting to people using their RSS feeds!

I really like the way squidoo have done this, they have been working promoting and interacting with twitter for a while now and the twttrstrm pages are a great way of doing a lot of things a lot of people have wanted for a while! The ability to simply monetize a page and share the revenue with squidoo as well is definitely an added bonus for tweeters.

I had a similar idea. I think it's brilliant. The only thing missing is the ability for users to input >140char responses as answers.

Brilliant ! I was thinking of coding an application that did something similar. I think this will be huge for marketers and consultants to really engage with their tweeples. It will be interesting to see the how this Squidoo app effects lens traffic scores.

I bet Mahalo wishes they had beaten Seth Godin to the punch with this. This type of feature that would slot in perfectly with Mahalo Answers. Now if they add a similar product, people will just view it as a knock-off...But Mahalo can do one better by allowing people to offer cash rewards.

Let's see how long it takes for Mahalo Answers to launch their own version of this.
