Cobbet said it all when the landowners enclosed the commons in the UK 200 years ago

every time anything looks like going out of copyright they get their mates in the legislature to extent the time period by another 25 years.

The ISP gets to sleep at night knowing it has helped to stem the illegal flow of popular french music such as... the french national anthem, and... others. All french people are better than mashable, it's science.

am not sure, what does the ISP get out of it? i would chase away paying customers, unless the content owners are going to compensate me.
