I like that faceyourmanga but it doesn't let you actually use your real photo or face. You just create a toon that most resembles you. Others do that too like IMVU so that's really another topic.
Another thorough article. Lots and lots of services I've never heard of. I'd really enjoy a follow up article on just the top three or four, or maybe the three newest ones, going into more detail.
As always, I appreciate the screenshots tossed in. The human interest element of mentioning which the kids enjoyed brought a smile to my face.

I'm a big fan of JibJab... in terms of scalability and quality-level of content and production value, I think it's a fair assessment that they're in a league of their own, in this crowd.
Has been really cool to see their transformation from one of the original one-to-many viral video creators to a site that engages their audience in fun ways, and makes it easy for them to share in the fun.
