"That said, it’s 100 times better than anything offering by Hillary Clinton or John Edwards."

I don't know about that. Edwards has a pretty robust DailyKos style blog network that allows you to vote on other people's blog posts, maintain a blog an diary and upload your own video/audio. Clinton's site has a robust set of tools as well - she has just purposefully chosen to go with more of a top-down approach instead of embracing social networking and blogging.

The Republicans will be announcing their own social networks soon:

    OilSpace
    JesusSpace
    IraqSpace

Obama is taking the web very seriously.. maybe not as much as Ron Paul, but Obama's main policy in politics is to get people jumpstarted... grassroots style. What's a better way than online, and even better.. myspace and facebook.

That damn african ain't gonna last one month if they elect him. It would be a miracle if he is elected. You naive people need to wake up. it's only one black man that can save us and that is the black man Christ. Voting is for suckers. Selah.

With all due respect, voting is not for suckers. Rather it is for those who choose to exercise the right of citizenship, one hard won by those who have suffered a great deal. I will not assume that you have nor witnessed suffering, but you certainly display little recognition of the fact that political change does not happen if you don't act.

The suckers are those who are made to believe that they can contribute nothing and in their ignorance, attempt to convince others to do nothing. Your disinclination to be an active thinker is the destructive worm that infects a society, allowing the population to be ruled by irrational fears and willful ignorance.

You may find my post, The Coming Digital Presidency, about how social network technology will transform not just getting elected, but governing, of interest:

    Hello, Mr. President Elect Oboma

My name is John. I am a nurse @ Detroit Recieving Hospital. I've been a nurse for 12 years. I'm 43 years old father of 2. I've been married for 17 years. I am an American how served in the 82nd Airbourn, and I live in Canada.

I have an idea that I believe will help, God willing this will cross your path. And I ask anyone who does read this and understand the importance, please direct this information to the right path. Thank you.

Please excues the spelling and grammer, it is the idea that counts.

If we as a nation were to change nascar rule by excluiding fosel fuel or food (I presonally think if you use food people will starve.) and use, say electric or hydrogen or whatever developes, in 10 year the oil issue is over.

    Race to improve through Nascar.

I believe if you, Mr. President Elect Oboma were to ask Nasca publiclly and with humility if they would be willing to lead our automative industry, they would.

If you have any Questions you can contact me @ jhristoff@cogec.ca

    Thank you John

    Glory is to God.
