For an example of what's possible with the Google Charts API, you might be interested in visiting the Love-o-Graph at http://lovegraph.thefootnot... , which makes all kinds of graphs with the API. It's kind of dorky, but pretty cool, and a good example of the sorts of things that can be done. Also, it's now available as a Google Gadget, which can be added to any page. Very useful, especially with Valentine's Day coming up!

I was also about to comment on the Google Chart API. It has some more advanced features that are slightly more difficult but the simple charts are pretty easy.
