OH yeah, here the blogger is paid in stuff, not money - eh - so this is cool, but PPP is evil? ;-)

Swapping stuff for (the hope of) press endorsements is nothing new - I'm not saying that it's right or wrong - just that PayPerPost is not the devil-incarnate the blogsream painted them out to be. Let's face it, a-list bloggers' homes are full of the latest gizmo's - and so, their blogs discuss those toys - very few have scoble's maturity to call this what it is.

Bloggers (in the US?) who do take Zoomr up on this offer, please note that you'll need to pay income tax on the price of your free Zoomr account so be sure that it's something you'll use - nothing is free.

Re: Zooomr Gives Free Pro Accounts to Bloggers, Why Not MySpace Users?

ok... an stupid question...

WHAT is a zooomr pro account? Today 325 :-)

Not a bad investment on their part,

Cheers,

Karl

Re: Zooomr Gives Free Pro Accounts to Bloggers, Why Not MySpace Users?

Nice move from Zooomr, but I think it is too late to do such move. And I think it is not the best way to get people to Zooomr you need add more blogger services because that is the think what bloggers need to start using Zoomr

Re: Zooomr Gives Free Pro Accounts to Bloggers, Why Not MySpace Users?

Well, this offer is no good for me, or for many others, simply because you cannot sign up!!

Perhaps the site o.p. coul;d do sopmehting about that?

Re: Zooomr Gives Free Pro Accounts to Bloggers, Why Not MySpace Users?

Woops that came out wrong. There's a wide audience out there for the photo market, and its only getting bigger. Perhaps, just perhaps, we need to look outside of the blogger market.

Re: Zooomr Gives Free Pro Accounts to Bloggers, Why Not MySpace Users?

Hi Kristopher and Thomas,

Well the truth is that most MySpacers don't use their blogs, and certainly not to post photos (that's usually done on profile pages). Zooomr isn't set up to appeal to that demographic anyway, since you've already defined your audience (consciously or otherwise) as early adopters who want an alternative to Flickr. What I'm questioning is whether that audience is large enough to be significant.

Re: Zooomr Gives Free Pro Accounts to Bloggers, Why Not MySpace Users?

Yep, MySpace Bloggers come on over.

Re: Zooomr Gives Free Pro Accounts to Bloggers, Why Not MySpace Users?

Hi, thanks for mentioning Zooomr!

Though, who says that mySpacers can't use Zooomr?
