Though, who says that mySpacers can't use Zooomr? Most mySpace people have blogs now, and they are included in our offer to all bloggers.

Well the truth is that most MySpacers don't use their blogs, and certainly not to post photos (that's usually done on profile pages). Zooomr isn't set up to appeal to that demographic anyway, since you've already defined your audience (consciously or otherwise) as early adopters who want an alternative to Flickr. What I'm questioning is whether that audience is large enough to be significant.
There are alot of people looking at zooomr, not as an alternative to Flickr, but as a complementary service.
Another point I have to make is there seems to be alot of emphasis on the blogging community, perhaps these products need to look at a much larger market that is waiting to be taken. There's a wide audience out there for the photo market, and its only getting bigger. Perhaps, just perhaps, we need to look outside of the blogger market.
Perhaps the site o.p. coul;d do sopmehting about that?
Just thought I'd mention that I signed up for the zooomr thing yesterday and there were about 100 comments so far. Today 325 :-)
Not a bad investment on their part,
Cheers,
Karl
WHAT is a zooomr pro account? I haven't seen any info in that site telling us about any special benefits for pro users...
:-?
Swapping stuff for (the hope of) press endorsements is nothing new - I'm not saying that it's right or wrong - just that PayPerPost is not the devil-incarnate the blogsream painted them out to be. Let's face it, a-list bloggers' homes are full of the latest gizmo's - and so, their blogs discuss those toys - very few have scoble's maturity to call this what it is.
Bloggers (in the US?) who do take Zoomr up on this offer, please note that you'll need to pay income tax on the price of your free Zoomr account so be sure that it's something you'll use - nothing is free.
