    Hi Kristen – Thanks for covering Center’d today. We’re really excited about the response we’ve received so far. Wanted to let you know that as part of a new release that launched today we have responded to a lot of our user feedback, including the issues you note around entering places to make plans. Now in addition to selecting places by name without needing to know the street address, you can more easily enter a street address when you want to as well. The other part of today's release is the addition of more robust group planning features, like shared calendars and sign-up lists for recurring tasks. These enhancements are designed to help people during this back to school timeframe (classroom volunteer schedules, team practices, etc.) but can help anyone who needs to manage a group schedule. We'd love any additional feedback from you and the Mashable readers!

    Interesting...Yelp actually has an event planning tool as well, tho!

    If you're looking to promote events (like you would inside Facebook or via Twitter), you should check out http://www.playster.org. You can add events directly into the search index and traffic gets sent to your site or blog.
