You can also add ThemesPress.com under Wordpress. I've written about it on my blog here.

It's a DIY type of setup for WP Themes.

Also on the comment form, when you press the "Tab" key it doesn't jump from the Name to Email and so on - but goes directly to the Comment field. Just an FYI

    120 blogging tips.

Wordpress had over a million blogs (many more actually, if they counted self-hosted Wordpressblogs) and all you can come up with is five Wordpress theme sites?

Theme sites? How about the thousands of plugins - some of them so good you can't Wordpress without them (SK2, for instance).

If you are hard pressed for great addons for Wodrpress, feel free to contact me. I use dozens and dozens of them across my various sites.

    Very nice post!

I just want to mention that you can use Google Analytics within Blogger.com (google blog site). Since both are google services, I would hope that there may be a little gain in speed. I don't know of any speed increase numbers, but I'd hope there would be some.

Two tools I feel I couldn't blog without...a tabbed browser with inline spell check and a good screen capture tool. If you want my choices...email me

Next month there will be yet another way to monetize your blog with our new site - Search Friendly Ads. It's basically a system we have created for serving up raw HTML for banner placements so that Advertisers get that added SEO value and so Publishers can automate the banner sales process and not loose out on providing their advertisers with the added SEO value that they are used to.

Excellent post...you should have added ChipIn (www.chipin.com) under blog monetization, allows bloggers to raise funds for themselves or their causes and funds go directly to fundraiser's PayPal account.

Wordpress is too complicated for a newbie and blogger is too limiting down to their TOS...the best tool for this category is moguling.com in my experience.

Just wanted to let you know that someone totally copied this exact list of resources, and used them on their own blog without even having the common sense to link back to this site... I hate people like this... Why can't people just make their own friggin content? I know this list must have taken a while for you to make, and I figured you would like to know that someone has copied it and used it on their site as if they were the original author.

    Here's the link:

    http://pepsimist.ru/120-resources-for-bloggers/

Hopefully you can report this idiot and get his blog taken down, and maybe even sue him for stealing your original work.

    Good Luck!
  • Sean P. Aune · 1 year ago
Bobby - thanks for the head's up. Sadly this is a very common occurrence for us due to our size and amount of content produced. I especially like how they didn't even bother to host the images themselves.

Anyway, we will look into it, and we appreciate you pointing out to us.
  • WebAdHelper · 1 year ago
There are some more good paid to blog sites which pay well, these are:
sponsoredreviews.com, socialspark.com, I like socialspark because they ask for nofollow links which means no more pagerank loss. We all know how important page rank is as more rank means more chances for site coming in search result.
  • Greg Tarkenton · 1 year ago
