It is such a great product - it is JUST LIKE A PAPER NOTEBOOK - more than ay other product.
Except it is better because
1. For those on the computer all the time, and maybe working in different places, the info just stays onlne and you don't have to carry around heavy books.
2. It self organizes - you don't have to figure out how many pieces of paper of a 100 page book will be devoted to which topic
3. you can search more easily
4. It is connected to everything you do due to the fact that, if you are a gmail user, you are always logged in to google anyway.

Google Notebook (Desktop + Mobile) is very usable for me! Also using Google Bookmarks from time to time :o)

The great advantage of Google Notebook ist bookmarking.

Zoho is NOT just like Google Notebooks. As much as I like(d) Zoho, you have to keep an active window open to copy anything into it...even with the Firefox add-on. AND items didn't always post to a page.

Uh, no thanks.

Google Notebooks stayed logged in and running in the background. I will miss you G-Notebook. :(

I just like to say: save Google Notebook and continue developing! Plz, google do not make same mistaktes like M$!

BTW, it would be nice if we can edit notebooks on mobile devices! (create/view already works and is very useful for mobile users!)

You are right when you said that most people did not know about Notebook, it is true. I did not earn of it until after it was being close (which I regret). Also, google hasn't put much support behind it.

I think Notebook will not be shut down by Google. They are just trying to build more hype about the subject by saying they are going to shut it down, then Googlers themselves start an online campaign to "save notebook" etc. I know many people use shared Notebooks.

I have been a big fan of Notebook for a while. Also, I would pay for a premium edition, if that is what Google wants.

Google Notebook is one of my favorite Google services, and I use Gmail, Feedburner, Google Maps, Blogger, Google Docs, Chrome, and the search variations.

It is much easier and faster to jot stuff down, clip interesting internet links and reorganize ideas than with Google Docs or even with Evernote, Google Notebook's main competitor. I would definitely tolerate text and tasteful display ads to use it. I might have even bought a Google phone if only Notebook was better integrated into it than on other phones.

It was a great product, but it suffered because a lot of people didn't know about it.

They should at least try to make some moneys from it adding an advertising bar just above the tool-bar.

I think they are really going in the wrong direction, thinking that
{wheel, engine, petrol} = car
is quite naive by google... and you get it right: they didn't even try to publicize this product!

I use it daily and will miss it. Especially with the the Firefox ext. I love it and don't want to start over somewhere else.

If we had Google Notebooks as an 'add-on' for Chrome or as a counter-part to the Chrome and Google Bookmarks manager, then it would be more useful!
