They are good guys and this was just a misunderstanding that snowballed. Shows you can't believe everything you hear on the internet...
You can see Justin's post here: http://justinhartman.com/20......
Cheers!

Re: Regator Simplifies Media Consumption [Invites]

I've tried all the different sites invite codes, and nothing good today for me, but for some reason I want in the beta, it looks cool, so any xtra invites floating around please send one my way

Thanxx
nicknowsky@gmail.com

Re: Regator Simplifies Media Consumption [Invites]

Hi! I am one of the co-founders of Regator.

We’re sorry you feel upset about this, but we had not even heard of afrigator until reading these comments. really. The reason we are called regator is because it a shortened form of agg-”regator” (that and the domain was available). The alligator made an obvious mascot and they are green so we chose a palate to match.

I can honestly say that it is pure coincidence… and we are sorry if we have offended anyone. It was not our intent.

Re: Regator Simplifies Media Consumption [Invites]

I agree with the comments above re Afrigator - What a total croc...

/you see what I did there?
//yes, I know it's not cool to point out your own puns

Re: Regator Simplifies Media Consumption [Invites]

This is bullsh*t!,
they stole Afrigator's brand!

Re: Regator Simplifies Media Consumption [Invites]

I'm with Tim Menson on this one - a total and blatent ripp-off of Afrigator.com.

C'mon, did you really think you would get away with it?

Re: Regator Simplifies Media Consumption [Invites]

looks like a blatant rip off of Afrigator.com to me.

Re: Regator Simplifies Media Consumption [Invites]

For a blog novice, I've found the site amazingly simple to roam around.
