I knew I was forgetting some folks.
Don't forget about austin 2.0 (www.austin20.biz)!
Basically, austin 2.0 joins people primarily in Austin, TX interested or involved in Web 2.0 technology, companies, or who simply enjoy the Web 2.0 lifestyle. The network fosters discussion around Web 2.0 trends, start ups, and news in the Web 2.0 community.
Thanks :o)

One thing happening in Austin is that the different geek sectors are actually connected. Some people like Connie Reece, Dusty Reagan, Rich Vázquez, and William Hurley are quite active at connecting people. Café Caffeine has been a venue for Austin Jelly, CC Salon, the Social Media Club, and other geek-savvy events in ATX. While SXSWi and BarCampAustin only happen once a year, local people who were able to connect through these events often stay in touch (maybe through Twitter, made popular during SXSWi 2007).
So, sure, a list of important blogs can be very useful. These are all interesting destinations. But the scene goes beyond individual blogs.
