In this role, you will work on developing the core technologies based on information extraction theories and practices, which will revolutionize the way people interact with other people, and discover the world.
1. You will work with one of the leading Silicon Valley development team to apply fundamental engineering discipline on academic research findings to bring products to fruition, potentially benefiting hundreds of millions of consumers. 2. You will work with the chief information architect to develop algorithms, collect data, build models (if necessary), investigate results, and refine your methodologies. 3. You will also develop a learning process by which the usage patterns and statistics are used to fine-tune the system. 4. Problems we are dealing with here are almost always ill-defined. You must have track record of making sound assumptions in order to constrain and solve the problem. 5. We are looking for people who have solid research or industry background on information retrieval and extraction, are proud of their contributions and have a passion to apply their knowledge to a consumer product.
