    Great find. A friend of mine tried to create something like this a long time ago -- it was way ahead of its time. The site is http://tapeworm.org/

    Mostly it was a place were selected artists could collaborate by sharing music with eachother and combining it into different songs and albums.

    All this web2.0 stuff is going to enable this to a much greater extent than was possible when tapeworm started.
