Fmail is Gmail in Facebook? F' that. I'd rather have my Facebook messages show up in Gmail. Just another app jumping aboard the Facebook frenzy. I'm curious if anyone will find this useful.

Why would I want to check my email inside Facebook? That's kinda stupid, in my opinion.

It's an interesting idea, and I applaud the work of the developer. However, it just seems like a useless combination of web apps.

    www.fmailclient.com

Looks like a re-interfaced Gmail. Good work, but what's stopping me from taking the time to hit Ctrl + T and typing "www.gmail.com?"

I can see xxdesmus's point. But then you wouldn't have to jump back and forth from different websites all the time. However, I guess I can test out and see if gtalk still works with it.

Nick O'Neill raised a really interesting point on this topic. He pointed out that the developers are stealing Google's trademark and that many users will assume that the app was developed by Google.

The problem here is that you're giving access to your gmail to a third party. Do you really think that's wise?

At first I thought this was a great idea until I actually added the application. I hate reading email on a squished display, and how do I jump back to my facebook account? It seems to kick you off your facebook account to an fmail client website. I'm going to remove this app, although the concept of syncing external sites into facebook sorta makes sense.

I'd prefer if Facebook added a "search within mail" feature. It's really a pain to click through pages and pages of message threads looking for someone's phone number or something.
