I've had reverbnation for a little while but just recently decided to start using the music player for my myspace page. I'm really glad I did! It sound much much better than the myspace music player, I can add my videos, and it's easy to track. I've also added the widgets to my Facebook page. http://www.myspace.com/dave...

These guys have really thought out the needs of every true independent band for a great one-stop-shop. It blows other networking sites out the water.
We've been using the site since it's inception, it's simple to use, and the Fanreach tools are crucial and save us so much time.
If I had my way, I wouldn't even bother with an official site or the crippled myspace!

Rervebnation has got to be the best music social networking site around. With myspace.com, there are too many other interests that I'd rather not get into, other than music. I vote. for Reverbnation.

Some good input. I am an artist and touring musician who finds rebernation a highly useful site that makes my life so much easier. I find it more user friendly than myspace for many reasons. 1. There are far less errors, 2.much more useful tools to promote yourself with. 3. It seems that it's much harder to spam users begging them to lsiten to your music. 4. It looks nothing like Purevolume and although PV is great, it does nothing in comparison for the artist, unless you are willing to fork over several hundred dollars for front page exposure.

Staying focused is a great idea. I think sites like myspace will crumble from lack of focus and poor management. Sites more focused like reverb and Purevolume will stand the test of time. They offer less headaches and more to the point ideas.
