I posted a tweet about this a couple of days ago, too. Spammers are getting more creative and annoying. Anyone who purchases something from these companies should have all of their money taken away from them.

Does this spam show up on the calendar even when the email with the .ics attachment was redirected to the spam folder? I'd be surprised if that was the case. Gmail does a very good job of catching spam (in my account at least). Preventing calendar spam just seems like a specific subset of preventing regular email spam.
