Don't forget Market Motive, a startup that offers access to SEO knowledge in areas such as Online Publicity, Web Analytics, Social Media, Pay-Per-Click Advertising, and Conversion Optimization. The company is run by ClickTracks founders Michael Stebbins and John Marshall, as well as Avinash Kaushik (author of Web Analytics: An Hour a Day) and the content is produced by experts in the industry.

Let's see. How exactly do all these links "improve" your SEO? I must have missed that.

It appears sphinn.com is really nothing more than SEO types to promote other SEO types.

Yeah, that's what the industry needs.
  • Collin LaHay · 2 years ago
Sphinn is the same thing as Digg, but it is targeted at a single niche.
  • Loren Baker · 2 years ago
Doug, What's your point about Sphinn? Sphinn isn't listed as a resource here.
  • Todd · 2 years ago
http://www.Websitegrader.com is a nice SEO tool too.
  • Sandy · 2 years ago
    I agree with Doug,

While the industry touts their experts, and charges extremely high prices, we are all but left scratching our proverbial heads only lighter in the pocket.

I just released a neat little tool to help you in your SEO efforts. It finds sites within your niche that are ranking that you may be able to buy for very little. It uses dmoz and the internet archive to get a list of sites, then it finds the sites that haven't been updated in a long time (aka abandoned = cheap):

    Great collection of tools - these will really come in handy. For me, I break down SEO into 4 distinct categories;

    1. Keywords
    2. Content
    3. Links
    4. Time

Thanks again for compiling this list.

The title said 30+ Tools and Services to improve your SEO. But this seems more like a sales pitch for a chosen few companies. Search Engine Networking at its best! No issues with that but please change the title. Respect our time as much as you respect your Ingenuity.
