It saves a lot of time and has features with implications I'm only beginning to grasp. This article made me realize that there's much more to learn.

It also reminds me once again that the internet experience is constantly morphing and that massive usage of services like these will lag behind new developments by two to three years (at least).

Silver Solution
Top Wellness Products

Re: 10 Reasons Why FriendFeed Will Beat Out the Competition

@Michael - I agree, Twitter is definitely still more used, but FriendFeed is catching up quickly.

@Pelle - Google is indexing all of the FriendFeed rooms too, which means a lot more blogs will get a lot more exposure from the search engines! :)

@Chacha, Dr Mani - I'm excited too! Glad others are loving FriendFeed as much as I am!

@Paul - I was going to mention that, but didn't want to jinx things from FriendFeed...they are handling traffic well, but until they are OK for 1 year, I won't praise them for it.

@Liviux - Competition of FriendFeed is Jaiku, SocialThing, Plurk, etc...

Re: 10 Reasons Why FriendFeed Will Beat Out the Competition

10 points and no mention of "uptime"?

Re: 10 Reasons Why FriendFeed Will Beat Out the Competition

You just got me all excited about FriendFeed.

Again!

Great article, thanks for sharing.

All success

Dr.Mani
http://www.FriendFeed.com/d...

Re: 10 Reasons Why FriendFeed Will Beat Out the Competition

I'm so hoping everyone will ditch Twitter for FriendFeed, it's SO much better!

Re: 10 Reasons Why FriendFeed Will Beat Out the Competition

I also noticed one my latest blog posts ranking in Google thanks to Friendfeed. It was a link to my Friendfeed blog entry but with the title of the particular blog post in bold, reflecting the keyword I had searched for in Google. Cool!

Re: 10 Reasons Why FriendFeed Will Beat Out the Competition

FriendFeed is way cool, but most of my friends and associates are still on Twitter only. Twitter is the present, FriendFeed is the future.

Re: 10 Reasons Why FriendFeed Will Beat Out the Competition

All great points... sounds like someone is a little passionate about friendfeed. I just checked the author, guest writer. Who could it be? :)
