I'm more then happy to answer questions about the release or what not...

I have to say that more then half of what you have posted is very inaccuate. But that's okay..

I agree with the poster above that it's hardly easy to compare beta to release, but this is a blog.

Rhonda

Re: MySpace Slated To Launch Improvements To Developer Platform

Heya, I'm an outside developer who signed up for the MySpace Developer Platform sandbox phase, and I wanted to point out one or two things, here.
First, comparing App installs between Facebook and MySpace can be misleading -- it's akin to saying that Microsoft is failing miserably because Internet Explorer 8.0, which is still in beta, doesn't have the marketshare of FireFox. It's simply a bad comparison. And of course there are several features missing still, along the lines of App Invites; because as one person commented, repeating Facebook's mistakes (and that's not a knock on Facebook - they've recognized the problems and are correcting them) is something everyone wants avoided.
I also find it highly unlikely that Max Newbould would make a statement giving a date like that - Max posts regularly on the forums and appears in the chat, but he's very cautious never to say anything outside the scope of what he directly controls and knows about. I can't speak MySpace, Max, or anyone else on the team, but my impression here is that someone has picked up some bad information.

Re: MySpace Slated To Launch Improvements To Developer Platform

myspace has apps?

Re: MySpace Slated To Launch Improvements To Developer Platform

Mashable fails at referencing a source accurately again. -1 for the team.

Re: MySpace Slated To Launch Improvements To Developer Platform

Please tell the platform invites are not clone of facebook app invites!
