yes, these four column themes are nice. wordpress is cool. but why we cannot use similar themes in blogspot?:(

Any number of columns will work, as long as most of them are crap the user will ignore (like vertical banners). One content column, one navigation/links column, and that's all the user needs/wants.

I've finally found what I'm hoping to go with tho!!

It's 3 col - which i think is plenty + it also Looks Sharp!!

I have a few questions:
Do any of these templates come as "Open Source" so that I can have it hosted outside of Wordpress?
Are they easy to modify? Examples would be the color scheme, custom header, date elimination on the posts, unlimited links to a single post, ect.
I am particularly interested in the Slined Mod 2.0 theme.

Mel - The modifications you mention are possible on just about any template with some tinkering. You should always check with a template author though for their particular licensing.

There is a newer version of the News Print wordpress theme out - version 3.0 - now a configurable four (or five) column theme. Gravatar-ready, widget-ready, and xhtml/css validated.
