There is public interest here, though, since public land, etc., hold the cable lines. They have an obligation in my mind to disclose, at least in court, what the bandwidth and associated costs really are, and what practices they use to restrict traffic. The public has a right to know how its land is being used.
Many people are turning away from Bell because of many problems, particularly with billing. It started with their phone plans, and now their internet.
I'm currently subscribing to their DSL connection and am supposed to get a 7mb connection. However, I recently got my line tested and noticed it was only around 700-1mb. Told customer/tech support and they said it will never go over than that. What a ripoff! Even 2-3mb was fine, b/c I understand "up to", but
