Anyway, I'd vote for AdultFriendFinder.com
Beat that :-)
"You think I am a bitch just because I know what I want." Type people.
If anything it's AIM. Since you take conversations from both social networks over to your Messengers and talk about meeting and hooking up.
GetThemLaid.com
Facebook I only use to keep in touch with existing friends, which I guess helps. Also, MSN - instant messenger and msn spaces together provide a good way of keeping in touch with existing friends, which I guess could be used to get laid.
I'd like an invitation if you are. Will you send me one?
B.
Please don't turn this blog into the ususal Techcrunch BS.
I'll report back in a couple of weeks.
HotOrNot paved the way... If it weren't for HotOrNot, the only chicks on MySpace would be nerdy anime girls.
;PPP
Anyway, Craigslist HAS to be on here. Pretty informal network, sure, but it qualifies -- and Lord knows it's easy to get action from there.

In fact, I'd say there is an inverse correlation between account age (or length of SNS use) and desire to meet new people.
It turns out there are some people (especially men, and yes, I am male) that really suck and brought bad vibes and perceptions to MySpace by the end of 2005. I noticed similar but delayed trends on Facebook and OKCupid (which is not on your list, but I'd say it has the highest lay potential at present.)
Apologies for posting anonymously to the public, but I guess you can say I'm somewhat of a 21-year-old authority on the SNS space wrt dating, privacy, and security. I'm coding a startup SNS that should address, if not solve, the aforementioned *ahem* clientèle issues.
Cheers.
But, I still love twitter :)
(ok very little sex)
For sure. :-)
Find someone on your cell phone nearby looking for just that...
Also not mentioned was the site I manage where tens of thousands of people hook up each year. Although that's not the intention of PlayCoed.com (the site allows organizers and participants to come together in a social network). Sports players and teams meet each other through recreational sports and the after game parties and there are numerous stories of hook ups, even marriages through meeting originally on the web.
AMEN to that!
