    The ultimate BEST Mother'sDay gift you can get for your mom is to take the time and actually write out (with a pen and paper!) just what your mom means to you.

    My daughter's class did something similar, only they produced a book (a literal book - they started with 20 blank pages and then decorated it with their thoughts, poems, feelings, Mom-isms (my kid listed:

    "Mama didn't raise no fool!"

    "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"

    "Hey kids! It's....CHARACTER BUILDING!" )

    and when she gave it to me in class, I just started crying on the spot.

    I plan on doing something similar for my mom too.

    One tool that I use every year in advance of Mother's Day is OpenTable, for making that all-important brunch reservation!
