Though MyShoe was rejected by Apple previously, it got bunch of coverage by internet and press media (especially by Mashable and PC World). Finally, MyShoe is back again with enhanced and appealing features and this time, approved and available on Apple Store.

My Shoe appeals to consumers who feel being ditched by their spouse, friend or love? It allows expressing and measuring anger without losing dignity? The relevant sound in the application will make you smile and captured funny moments will definitely bring a smile on your friends face.

The application is easy to use. Users can simply use image library or take from iPhone camera, fit it in a template provided by MyShoe and click on “Hit Me”. The man designed a simple app that allowed people to have fun bouncing a 'cartoon' shoe off of a 'cartoon' Bush on their phone.

To determine that this 'glorifies' a physical attack on a president is as inane as saying accepting collateral damage in Iraq glorifies killing innocent people.

And yes, it obviously violated the TOS, as well as common sense, to be glorifying the act of throwing anything at a sitting (or even past) president, which is illegal in both the US and Iraq.

I do not have to ask myself one single additional thing- neither should this developer who I think has contributed a light-hearted political product to the sphere of those who prefer to refrain from keeping their mind under a dusty lock.

There exists zero reasonable people here in the states who would support throwing an 'actual physical' object at anyone- much less a president of any particular political persuasion.

Which is EXACTLY why there exists a 'virtual' environment to do so. You've probably never heard the term 'virtual' judging by your mid-century response.

Defaming those in high seats of power is a specialty of most in the press purely by proxy when they uncover and report government abuse, corruption and over-reach, if you want to apply your nonsensical rationale broadly.

Ask yourself, as much as you don't like Bush, why would you want to create an app that defames your former president of 8 years. Even if you hate the guy, he still represents the United States. You're only embarrassing yourselves and making your own country look foolish. Even the Iraqis condemned the shoe thrower.

And if you're the developer, don't you have anything better to do with your life! Maybe make a contribution to the world.

Um, isn't this the evidence of a free society? Yes, it is... my fellow Americans appear to have regressed into some form of highly compliant human product most often found clinging like hopeless fibers in the haunted frameworks of repressive regimes.

The ruling is inane and far too repressive. Let people bounce shoes off of presidents' heads in a most virtual way. I think this is fantastic.

The App Store rules are pretty strict all right. Our makeover app PicTricks (which does cool face detection btw) was initially rejected because we shipped it with a generic stock photo of Bush.

The *potential* to use an app to ridicule a public figure is enough to get the app rejected. :-P

I can on one hand understand this ruling, but on the other hand, I look forward to seeing if this is uniformly enforced. If the target were a non-US public figure (such as the example above, Bin Laden), would this be enforced the same way?
