but not to throw shoes at Bush? Please.
You guys REALLY need to get over your Bush derangement syndrome. You have won. Now get to work and fix everything the stupid dems have broken.
And who is the other guy in the pic w/ Bin Laden and Bush? Bono? Kim Jong Ill?
These kind of applications should not be allowed to disturb social harmony.
The other man should be Musharraf. (please correct me if i was wrong)
The *potential* to use an app to ridicule a public figure is enough to get the app rejected. :-P
Um, isn't this the evidence of a free society? Yes, it is... my fellow Americans appear to have regressed into some form of highly compliant human product most often found clinging like hopeless fibers in the haunted frameworks of repressive regimes.
The ruling is inane and far too repressive. Let people bounce shoes off of presidents' heads in a most virtual way. I think this is fantastic.
And if you're the developer, don't you have anything better to do with your life! Maybe make a contribution to the world.
I do not have to ask myself one single additional thing- neither should this developer who I think has contributed a light-hearted political product to the sphere of those who prefer to refrain from keeping their mind under a dusty lock.
There exists zero reasonable people here in the states who would support throwing an 'actual physical' object at anyone- much less a president of any particular political persuasion.
Which is EXACTLY why there exists a 'virtual' environment to do so. You've probably never heard the term 'virtual' judging by your mid-century response.
Defaming those in high seats of power is a specialty of most in the press purely by proxy when they uncover and report government abuse, corruption and over-reach, if you want to apply your nonsensical rationale broadly.
You don't see Righties creating Clinton/Monica under the Oval Office desk apps. That's over, too.
As the first poster says, get over the Bush Derangement Syndrome, please.
And yes, it obviously violated the TOS, as well as common sense, to be glorifying the act of throwing anything at a sitting (or even past) president, which is illegal in both the US and Iraq.
It's illegal to bounce a concrete object off anyone's head, president or not.
Righties are frozen stiff in an iceberg of repression and Puritanism- where on earth would these people find the inspiration to produce any level of entertainment beyond synchronized clapping? much less the fantastic idea of a Clinton/Monica app which I would find absolutely hilarious.
What are you some sort of fundamentalist clown posing as someone with a shred of intelligence?
The man designed a simple app that allowed people to have fun bouncing a 'cartoon' shoe off of a 'cartoon' Bush on their phone.
To determine that this 'glorifies' a physical attack on a president is as inane as saying accepting collateral damage in Iraq glorifies killing innocent people.
Man, your arrogance is exceeded only by your ignorance.
Apple is being over the top and rotten about this, get over yourselfs Apple.
If I had developed the application it would of mixed of Guatemala bay and Bush, see how long that would take to be banned.
Your response lacks any sense of feasible effect. I am ignorant and arrogant; So what? Your mere subjective determination is easily classified as the more of the same and probably to the same unfeasible effect.
Fact is, a Rightie could never produce something out-of-the-box because his central life theme represents the apex of inflexibility, predictability and rigid adherence to an ancient collectivity of mental bondage.
Which is exactly WHY a Rightie could never produce a Clinton/Monica app. It goes against the nature of what they've acquiesced to.
IF a Clinton/Monica app WERE, in fact, produced by a Rightie his/her rejection from the fold would be swift.
Let's not beat around the bush here, you arrogant illiterate. Just trading barbs of equal value.
Exactly. That TOS is the single biggest flaw in the iPhone/iPod Touch. This decision is flat out stupid, TOS or no TOS.

My Shoe appeals to consumers who feel being ditched by their spouse, friend or love? It allows expressing and measuring anger without losing dignity? The relevant sound in the application will make you smile and captured funny moments will definitely bring a smile on your friends face.
The application is easy to use. Users can simply use image library or take from iPhone camera, fit it in a template provided by MyShoe and click on “Hit Me”. Get ready on the countdown 3 – 2 – 1 and on “throw”, assume your iPhone a shoe and swing your arm to throw iPhone (without really throwing it). The Hate meter below will express the intensity of your anger. Save the picture in gallery and share the lovely moments with your friends.
