Thanks for the write-up, Pai. We're psyched about our new interface and improvements and can't wait to hear more feedback!

That actually looks pretty cool. Is there any word on whether there will be a desktop app version, something written for Adobe Air could be cool.
  • Emily · 1 year ago
@ Mat - We don't have a desktop app yet, but we're definitely considering the idea and I'd love to hear why that might be more useful (or as useful as) a web app that you can access from anywhere.

Anyone else having some trouble making the site work on Firefox? I have the latest version of FF and it says that my Javascript isn't enabled when it is.

What other sort of information goes well next to your email in a tab, like we do with Twitter in Fuser? Twitter was a natural choice for us but I'm sure the hyper-connected community has other great ideas for communication mediums that blend well next to your email. What are your thoughts?

@ DC - We'd love to help you start using Fuser. I'm confident we can resolve your FireFox issue. You can email us at support [at] fuser [dotcom]

It seems fuser doesn`t work with account that use the international date format DD/MM/YY so if you don`t live state-side you may not be able to add in your accounts. Thats a shame cause the original version worked fine, but now this is of no use to me and the other 6,301,084,227 people on the planet.

Jason's right, we currently don't support non-US English email accounts in Fuser. We have plans to add international email very soon, though, and really appreciate the feedback that it's necessary for a lot of potential and current users. Thanks!

Does this mean that I just created my fuser account and added my twitter account for nothing? I left it trying to add an account for 24 hours. Why didn't it tell me. Please let it inform users that other countries are not supported. I was excited about fuser and I really tried to make it work.

    Maybe I should try NutShellMail
  • Jason · 1 year ago
well NutShellMail is a different beast again. There are a few options out there such as webtops and mail aggregators. Fuser looked promising due to it's nice integration of mail and social website, and it's support of IMAP allowing it to be used easily as an away-from-home email solution. But as we have found it doesn't work for us so I'm continuing to use GHost http://g.ho.st/
I'll keep an eye on fuser but have been disappointed by the lack of communication both from their software just sitting there and spinning forever without complaining about a format error, and their support. I`m still waiting for a reply from support I sent 4 days ago ( *pokes* Emily :-) )

Hi Fred - Sorry that you didn't know about our international language limitations. Just to be clear, international POP and IMAP accounts should be able to be added to Fuser, but accounts like Yahoo, Hotmail, etc have limitations that we can't yet support. If you had success adding your accounts, we'd love to hear about it.

I now see some information above but really don't understand how and why our company information is placed above. Please remove that.
