Its nice to see sites like uber vois and netlog on the list they're different - and dlj dont you agree just a little that as far as hi5 friendster and orkut arent they so well 2005? JMO

DLJ, Unfortunately, no one actually nominated Hi5, Friendster or Orkut. If you wanted to vote on them, someone should've nominated them. I'm just trying to keep this fair and open.

I am disappointed to see 3 of the top 5 "large scale networks" not here. They are Hi5, Friendster (I just read that Friendster is the 12th largest website in the world) and Orkut.

How can we vote for a favorite if only a fraction are there and the rest of the list is filled with no-names or not-so-large (ok, tiny) sites?

IMHO, restart the voting with a better list...

Chris, I was just as shocked as you to see no nominations for Hi5 or Orkut. However, I can't believe as of right now Netlog is almost even with Facebook.

This is pointless, I bet people on here didn't know half these sites existed. What exactly is the definition of "Large" social network even supposed to be because these are definitely not mainstream. How are huge sites like Orkut and Hi5 not on there? I know they're not as popular here in America but I can guarantee that there are more Orkut users here than Ourlikes.com
