It is called the GMA Kapuso Foundation or gmakapusofoundation.com. I am very much aware of their numerous public service announcements for donations of all kind ( anything from canned foods, medicine, clothes, blankets, lamps or lanterns and cash as much as possible.) They are so much underrated and probably deserve WORLD attention for the thousands of people they had assisted and temporarily given a chance to survive. With all my heart, I hope the charitable things that this foundation has accomplished will bear fruit in the likes of world famous charitable organizations. And that the credit that GMA Kapuso Foundation deserves for their gargantuan efforts to mankind.

Re: Mashers: Win a $700 Pass to Under the Radar | Mobility Conference

http://www.moguling.com/ provides a very effective blog tool for business looking to drive more traffic to their websites and also for business looking for lead generation solution

Re: Mashers: Win a $700 Pass to Under the Radar | Mobility Conference

Are you planning on doing this again in the future? I am the developer of thethingsiwant.com, though I don´t think we have been completely unnoticed (we were metioned by mainstream press a couple of times, (cnn and pcmag specifically)). I always found the fact that the cool tech sites like (techcrunch or mashable) never mentioned us wierd, specially since clones of our site (I won´t mention names but there are plenty, some even have variations of our name in their frontpages) have been given rave reviews on tech sites. Granted we don´t have the coolest design and we are as small as there is, however we've done some fairly complex tech stuff (like a bot for example) and we have a small but very loyal user base. Anyhow, though it was sort of frustrating for a while, and it would have really stroken my ego to have been mentioned in the sites I actually read, I realized this year that as a developer from Argentina, working for a company in Miami (which as a combination is as far away from Silicon Valley or all the other Tech centers of the world as there is), the fact that I could work in doing something interesting and cool for a worldwide audience was reward enough. So well, though I don´t think we qualify as an startup (we've been around for a bunch of years and even though we never got past our own initial investment, we have actually broke even), that's my nomination, and no, I don´t think I could go to the event.

Re: Mashers: Win a $700 Pass to Under the Radar | Mobility Conference

Check out www.buzznet.com - huge social media network based around music, movies and other entertainment. Unlike facebook where you list all the people, places, music and books that you LIKE, you list all of the things that you DON'T LIKE.

One of the main features of the site is writing short 'annoyances'. These are the equivalent of a facebook 'status'. There are more lengthy 'musings' which are somewhat like facebook's 'notes'.

You can rate everyone's musings and annoyances with a + neutral or - depending on what you think of it. Then you can see who else rated that annoyance and what they thought about it. These +'s and -'s add up over time and the total of the ratings from all of your annoyances is listed next to your name.

I think it's a clever twist on a proven site type, but just twisted enough that it's still unique.

www.ruduzu.com
Hope you like it.

Re: Mashers: Win a $700 Pass to Under the Radar | Mobility Conference

http://www.bustaname.com/

Re: Mashers: Win a $700 Pass to Under the Radar | Mobility Conference

Great list here!
