Along the same lines, I wonder how the statistics hold up for &lt;a href="http://wordpress.com?" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="wordpress.com?"&gt;wordpress.com?&lt;/a&gt; Or, for that matter, any other UGC site that lets users to sub-domain.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;That said - I use Ning. In fact, I recently started my social network on it(so, you may consider me as a 'power user', if such a thing exists). And I should say that, being a network creator, there are a whole bunch of issues that keep me occupied when I log on to Ning, than to search for sleaze networks on it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But I think we are drawing an opinion a tad too soon. If you give it some more time, I am sure we will see a more accurate reflection of what sort of social networks get traction on the platform. Non-family-friendly networks are, unfortunately, the fastest growing - but they tend to reach saturation pretty soon.
