    Hmm... now that is unfortunate... Along the same lines, I wonder how the statistics hold up for wordpress.com? Or, for that matter, any other UGC site that lets users to sub-domain.

    That said - I use Ning. In fact, I recently started my social network on it(so, you may consider me as a 'power user', if such a thing exists). And I should say that, being a network creator, there are a whole bunch of issues that keep me occupied when I log on to Ning, than to search for sleaze networks on it.

    But I think we are drawing an opinion a tad too soon. If you give it some more time, I am sure we will see a more accurate reflection of what sort of social networks get traction on the platform. Non-family-friendly networks are, unfortunately, the fastest growing - but they tend to reach saturation pretty soon. Whereas other networks, they tend to grow slow, but they also tend to keep their momentum going for a longer time.

    I doubt that purveyors of pr0n content would worry too much about where they set up camp. And it is no surprise at all that they would grab major shares of traffic since that has been the case since the beginning of the InterWeb.
