That said, the hillbilly cretin who posted that "no minority" ad should be beaten with a rusty pipe and sent back to the trailer park that spawned him.

Re: Craigslist Cleared Of Discrimination Charges In Listings

Yes, this kind of rules is the additional head-ache for web master and moderators. Nevertheless, it's fair.

(c) my personal web space: http://www.edenfantasys.com/

Re: Craigslist Cleared Of Discrimination Charges In Listings

agree with judge as well

Re: Craigslist Cleared Of Discrimination Charges In Listings

I think Craigslist is a great example of journalistic freedom - I don't like censorship and therefore use the newer social networking sites like http://www.JustExpressing.com so that no one decides what I write

Re: Craigslist Cleared Of Discrimination Charges In Listings

thank god for lawyers - i mean how could a civilised society exist without the ability to sue for something that affects NOONE!!

Re: Craigslist Cleared Of Discrimination Charges In Listings

I think it is unfair to expect craiglist to go through every ad feature... they should instead have a report this feature like youtube.com

Re: Craigslist Cleared Of Discrimination Charges In Listings

I must say the judge is right in this case. Craigslist must get millions of listing per days and it would require a very large team of people who would keep up with these postings and monitor the language in order to remove questionable postings the minute they are featured. At least if they have a window in which to do so...it's far more feasible.

Gisele
