In theory, one could upload their iphone videos straight to Mobog (if mobog supported video) and have almost-straight-to-web.

    Disclaimer: Mobog is my site.

Disclaimer #2: Mashable did a review of Mobog a few days ago. :)

I'm waiting for this to be in a standard update from Apple I'm not sure if it's a marketing ploy to not include it in the first release because we all know it can be done.

This is definitely something I was wanting for the iPhone. I was wondering why it hadn't been built in like the cameras on their computers. Especially with youtube emphasis that could be turned to automatic uploading like Apple TV. but I am happy to see movement. I can't wait until June, I hope a 3G iPhone is in our future. And full Bluetooth 2.1 would be nice too. ;-)

actually, there ARE straight-to-web options for the software. there is an option to send it straight to youtube from within the application.

I wonder how long O2's free data tarriff will last with the ability to start sending bigger data packets over their network.

This is a great app for iPhone owners. I really do hope that the next version has something like this built-in (it's one of the main reasons I don't own one)

We did some tests with videos from this app on a 'multimedia conversation network' system I am building, and it worked perfectly!

Record video -> Send via email from the iPhone -> It was instantly published on the web and distributed to blip.tv, youtube, twitter, blogs etc. All in one go!

lovely! Come on Apple! I need 3G! ;)

They have a lot to do to catch up with the mobile multimedia functionality of the Nokia N95 :)
