It would be more useful to know if Amazon plans on offering casual game downloads, or full-length production PC games; something along the lines of a Steam competitor would be very interesting to see.

Agree w Jay: casual or core? Steam has plenty of (mostly hardcore) detractors, but continues to expand on numerous fronts. And to my knowledge it has no real competition. Amazon could change that if that market is their intended focus.

I believe that we are going to see these types of opportunities be taken advantage of by organizations in these types of situations. Amazon has access to millions of consumers and could be a powerful force if they were to offer games, core or casual. This is creating more and more opportunities for individuals hoping to work in this industry.
