That's one of the problems with the DMCA laws. Anyone can threaten you to take down something and usually get away with it.

Keep laughing, folks. The biggest economic boom (or bust) the world has seen yet is on its way, and its name is INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS, LICENSING, AND DISTRIBUTION.

Sure, iTunes is making a killing with Internet delivery of "purchased" music. But we'll see who's laughing when the only things you can watch on TV cannot be stored on VCR, DVD-R, or DVR (Tivo) indefinitely. Not to mention the slow death of the book industry, of which the author received the LEAST amount of compensation compared to the printer/binders and distributors.

YouTube is free uploads by anyone. When they start cancelling accounts en masse and deleting "probably copyrighted" video, the end of "free" will be in sight.

Oh dear, what is it that we are doing wrong that fifteen year olds are so angry with us? We must attempt to open a dialogue with them so that we can change our culture and our society in such a way that we will no longer force innocent fifteen year olds from becoming Web terrorists and forcing those poor people at YouTube to take down video clips.

Sure, anyone hiding behind false identity can speak freely about anything!

Free speech, but it should be qualified by who is speaking. We clearly need to do something about this.

If anyone can say anything without being accountable for what it might evoke, there's trouble.

We can scream FIRE in a crowded theatre, and we can change the flow of things; even change peoples' lives entirely, and no one is culpable because they're hiding behind a proxy.

Something needs to be done.

that friggin kid!! Just 20 mins ago I was ctrying to watch the chaser and it didn't work, i figured my internet was busted, but all the other videos worked. So i was bored and went on dig, and saw this story, hmm, a 15 year old ftom australia...it can be... he cancled the friggin show! I really bloody hope youtube brings it back!! they leave other crap on it anyways!

All "Chaser's War on Everything" episodes are available for download as torrents... I don't know the details of the license, but content sharing is well within the ABC's policy.
