you don't need to have all the bells and whistle off the bat. build traffic first. not everyone is using this feature on flickr.

Year 2007 is going to be for mobile what social networking was for year 2003. It is a start of a revolution.

Here's an idea someone could build. A service that will redirect your content to one or more services like this. That way you don't have to remember more then one "unique address and PIN number". It would also work nice if you change services because your upload method would stay the same and you would just reconfigure it to the new service. It would also be cool if it could send pictures one place and videos to another.

I'd try to build it into Wampad if I had the time, but unforutnatly my day job keeps me too busy.

YouTube solved the "last mile" problem of "how do I share videos I found on the net" and made it super easy. Flickr solved the same problem with sharing photos and made it super easy. Yes, there are a lot of sites with mobile upload features. We're focused on making it as easy as possible.

    very slow to bat.

However, I must admit, P-bucket was always much easier to use then photodump etc.

what's new here? hasn't this been available for a while with photobucket??

    simomn,

Yeah, I assumed that, but they mailed me specifically with a link to that press release, dated today. Sometimes these sites roll out the features long before they announce them, which is super annoying. Not sure if that's the case here.
