    easily, social networks have a substantial influence on the social behavior of people. Myspace is the most trafficked site in the U.S i bet they can easily declare who would be president and make it a reality.

    This results shown certainly do not support the conclusion. For a information source to affect the election, it first must be shown that the individuals did not already have a preference for the candidate. It is likely that many who seek out their pages already are more likely to vote and have an existing preference. Basically this study shows that people seek out information on things they are already interested in. It should also be noted that the social networks largest demographic (18-24) has the least representation amongst the sample. Also, those most likely to actually vote, 35+ are the least affected by viewing the information.

    The largest voter drive in recent memory was an SMS registration campaign on Green Day's "American Idiot" tour. If pollsters think these new voters aren't on Myspace or Facebook about once a day, they're insane.
