Whoops, your Kuler link is bad. Strip the 'www'.

Pete, How can Apollo have an impact about web identities?
  • Ppine · 2 years ago
Huh? The Kuler Dashboard widget doesn't use Apollo at all -- in any way, shape or form. Now, Apollo for desktop widgets has potential -- and we're all excited about it -- but let's not get ahead of ourselves. The desktop widget is not an Apollo creation.

Ya, this one could do with an edit. I'll get on it later.

It's not about the first release of an Apollo App at all (I did some myself). It's about what's the first real app (except demos) coming from Adobe itself.

    Alexander,

Which is exactly what I updated the post to say - did you read the updated post before you commented?
  • Salvador Medrano · 2 years ago
    Pete,

That's what Alexander said too; he was actually commenting on Gary Brewers previous post. By the way have you seen/used the Finetune.com Apollo app?
  • Pete Cashmore · 2 years ago
    Salvador,

    Ah, understood.

Re:finetune - yup, tested it here

I've been using YourMinis desktop, too, which is very slick. But generally I'm still hesitant to use desktop apps - I thought we moved to the web to get away from that stuff.
