Haha. I stopped commenting on people's use of improper grammar or incorrect spelling. I stopped doing this after emailing John Biggs (from CrunchGear) a few times about the atrocious mistakes that the editors let slip by daily. I finally figured out that no one really cares since we can still process what the correct word or grammar should be instinctively.

I totally agree with #3 and have been spreading the RP gospel in RL.

HOWEVER, you are a bit off with #2. Don't drink the apple kool aid because you'll have to buy more than just the machine. That means an entirely new library of software (windows stuff won't work on mac OS). All the useful apps that are bundled with Xp must be bought for a mac. Windows Movie maker is free with XP, Imovie or whatever costs 100 bucks. And that's just one application. Plus you can't upgrade macs so they get obsolete faster.

If you don't want XP as your OS, I highly recommend looking into Linux Ubuntu. This is the operating system given to 3rd world countries that have no computer experience, it's so simple anyone could use it. It never crashes or gets any kind of viruses/spyware. 80% of all web servers are running on Linux. Any software you could ever want is available for free.

Mark, my personal New Year's resolution is to remove Mashable from my bookmarks, which I will do...right...now. Done. Your writing makes me feel trollish and the best thing to do is stop reading it. Happy New Year, you crazy Paultard!

So long Mashable, I won't see you later.

ps. Tell Kristen to keep up the solid work she's been doing.

I would love to hear what you find disappointing in Vista, I could not be any more please, improves on XP in every regard.

I have a 24" iMac with 2.8Ghz Intel Extreme CPU, it's one of the fastest Macs you can buy, and it still is slow and applications hang and freeze almost daily. I have almost no issues with any of my Vista machines.

But the worst thing about Mac OS is all the small things that makes it so tedious to use, it really makes my productivity go down, I love Apple hardware, but not their software. You really should try it out before you buy.
