"John Cleese, where the HELL have you been? Obviously NOT on Twitter!"

That would be MY reply. :o)

    Who is Mashable?

    "It's . . . . . "
  • Will · 11 months ago
I actually think he is pulling a Kanye West who famously said in one of his rare tweets "Who the hell is Stephen Colbert?" when colbert beat/humbled him a week or so ago on the iTunes chart. Naturally it was a designed humbling where Colbert encouraged his nation to all buy his album on the same day to purposefully leapfrog West.

It's a blog managed by that nice Mr. Hilter. Why are you asking, are you a spy?!

can I declare this the winner? ;)

Crikey! I follow all three of the top UK Twitterers (and I only follow 27 total). Who are the top U.S. Twitterers?

Dave Matthews is rapidly gaining followers. He's at over 10,000 and when I started following maybe a month or so ago, he had only 9,000.

Plenty of Pythonesque lines going through my head, but none of them appropriate to the situation.

Come and see the violence inherent in the system!

Mashable is Number Two. Not Number One, so we have something to aspire to, nor shall we be Number Three since John Cleese is occupying that spot. Two and no more, nor less. Now who has that Holy Hand Grenade?

@JohnCleese is totally pulling an @KanyeWest

Next thing you know, Kanye will be saying, "Who the hell is John Cleese?"

"What has Mashable ever done for us"
  • Ari · 11 months ago
    "I'm a blogger and and I'm okay
I work all night and I sleep all day

I cut down startups, I eat my lunch
    I go to the lavat'ry
    On Wednesdays I go shopping
And have buttered scones for tea

I cut down startups, I skip and jump
I love to press wild flow'rs
    I put on women's clothing
    And hang around in bars

    ..."

    something like that

Ahhh...but nobody expects Mashable. Their chief weapon is fear...and surprise. Surprise and fear. Ahhh..never mind. 'tis a silly argument.
  • Duncan Riley · 11 months ago
You don't have to be Mashable to tell people that life's about change. (with apologies naturally to John Cleese)
  • Nicole · 11 months ago
I shall taunt you a second time
  • Allen Taylor · 11 months ago
