    I kind of think it's bullshit that removing laws is magically going to clear this situation up. Because given the FREEDOM to help the consumer, Verizon and Comcast will gladly do so, right? As will all those little start-up ISPs, because they're in a position to do so.

    I'm in favor of Net Neutrality, and anyone who's not on my side should get strangled by Sandvine.

    Look, it's real simple, Conor...

    Right now, the customers are clamoring for net neutrality. If they could leave their current broadband provider and go towards one who would allow them a net neutral service, they would.

    Because of lack of competition, that is impossible.

    In a world where actual competition exists, market pressures could force net neutrality back into existence.

    I'm all for network neutrality. I'm just not for unnecessary regulation that acts as a barrier for to entry for other potential competitors that could actually fix the original problem.
