Alexandre Figueiredo · 2 years agoROTFL. Hilarious!

Jon Smirl · 2 years agoRidiculously expensive. Dreamhost.com will store 8GB for $20 and they've already been in business ten years. All the downloads you want included.

Stan · 2 years agoAlthough those prices are right, I don't think the article or the comments above are pointing out the right usage-scenario. iForem isn't intended to be backup tape or spare disk drive. There are plenty of cheap places to do that as que, alex, and jon pointed out. iForem is an automated perpetual trust that can carry out important wishes. Even the minimum storage of 20 megs is good for over 100 documents, which is more than most people will ever need to process their wills, journals, etc. Every document can be set for an automated action upon an event such as death or the elapse of a certain date. The actions include being emailed to spouse, lawyer, NY Times, etc. or being auto-deleted or converted into a permanent archival that is delete-modify-proof. You get all of this for a one-time fee of $20. Mighty cheap compared to having a lawyer, safe deposit box, and a designated trustee.
