If you're looking for more info on how to use sites like these to further your music then check out my blog at songaday.co.uk, and also Last.fm's http://nowformaband.last.fm - and I'd say Last.fm should be in this list anyway!

How about www.YouLicense.com? It allows musicians to license their music and cuts all the red tape other sites have.

MeetYourBand.com is a good resource also. According to the forums they will be introducing some site upgrades soon with new features.

What about http://www.Givemebeats.com ? If you are looking for music instrumental (beat), they have over 13,000 beats produced by some of the illest producers in the world.

Performing artists and classical musicians should check out Artist Nation at http://www.ArtistNation.org

Great resource for independent and managed artists. Create fully detailed profiles with relevant categories for performing artists. Great for instrumentalists, vocalists, conductors, etc. in orchestral, opera and even musical theater.

The highly anticipated website launch by PatchWerk Recording Studios’ “Need A…?” Division is finally here! The brand new website, www.NeedaNetwerk.com, is offering a direct outlet for independent artists to have their production, engineering, songwriting, artistry, and musician services listed and booked by other independents. Targeting every professional independent in every major city, this is the foundation of the world's first ever Independent Music Industry.

Also want to recommend gydget.com where artists can quickly create a free, customized, viral, fan widget that includes video, news and events. www.gydget.com.

    And then there is http://alonetone.com

It differs because it is open source, non commercial, and does all the things musicians need online, no more, no less.

Producers selling rap beats and hip hop beats visit http://www.pickabeat.net to sell their beats. Best site to sell and buy beats online. Check out http://www.pickabeat.net

Or www.westsidewill.com, which is free, is a great source for Unsigned Musicians to get airplay on their shows.

You forgot the best one. E-junkie. Most of the snocaps, musicanes, and CDbaby's want a big cut of your profits, some charge as much as 40%. E-junkie charges an EXTREMELY low monthly charge instead. Ten songs = $5.00 per month for a basic subscription. So you can sell 1,000 downloads and give $400.00 to the scumbags or $5.00 to E-junkie. Plus they have everything set up already so all you have to do is sign up and use cut and paste HTML.

    Enjoy!
