Ontario Emperor · 1 year agoThe plight of the Egyptians in Egypt is sad to hear, but understandable. As Americans, we get worked up about an American in prison, but once the American is released we walk away from the story. Human nature, I guess.

Bernie Goldbach · 1 year agoFair play to the Twitter posse for bailing an American but from my Flashmob and street protest experience, it's more a story of how effective group texting helped in a crunch. When I got detained in Egypt, I lost my watch, my phone, and my camera. I don't know Buck's specifics but it sounds like he had his phone after being arrested. That's interesting because it's highly unusual to get put into the general prison population in the Middle East where you keep electronic gear on your person.
