Thanks for the review Pete - the "Background" noise on Fightclix was from a 'Sploder' embed - there is no automatic audio -

    Thanks,

The idea of web 2.0 is based on share. Once you put your stuff on web, there is no protection what's so ever. Is Google going to share their revenue with users? Maybe... And I wish it could happen some day. But then again, all those "sharing" websites are gonna find their way to keep their members.

    kavan,

Ah, understood - any way to prevent it running on pageload?

Thumbwarz is actually a cool idea. Execution isn't great, though.

Yeah - we're working on fixing the "sploder" kink - early, early days ;-)

    Thanks again -

I don't know guys, I kind of like Fightclix - granted its definitely not the prettiest thing around but it does seem like it could be fun particularly with the number of different items you can embed from other sites. I think they need to add a widget function allowing users to post the fights on other sites - then I think it might really have legs.

    My 2 pennies :0)

I started BabeVsBabe.com last year as a way to rate Flickr babes -- pretty much the same concept as FlickrCombat. What I quickly realized, though, was that if I wanted to gain any significant traffic, I'd have to expand beyond the Flickr sphere. Flickrites aren't exactly into submitting their photos as part of this type of novelty entertainment, and there were a few thorny issues with some photographers not wanting their photos posted for rating. (I eventually opened up Babe Vs Babe to all photos, and now I'd say 99% of newly submitted photos are from sources other than Flickr, and traffic has increased significantly since then as well.)
