The site looks inviting, though there are so many fashion/lifestyle type of sites and I don't believe any of them have huge user numbers.

Another stylehive type of site. these sites don't have many users for very obvious reasons. Nobody gets it. But what do I know? I'm no Stanford grad.

Most fashion/style sites have content that's being written by their editors while sites like Stylehive and this have content that is pushed out by users. Users will get used to this idea in the near future. It's like Digg meets DailyCandy.

But where are the users getting the content they submit? From the editorial sites. They're trying to be user-generated aggregators but they're not very useful for finding cool things...it's like a random collection of 'stuff'!

These niche bookmarking sites aren't so much a Digg as they are a del.icio.us. And despite it's popularity, I still don't think del.icio.us (or any social bookmarking site) is going to be part of the 'next wave' like a YouTube or MySpace. If I had to vote, social bookmarking is biggest fluff of the Web 2.0 hype. These type of things have their geek following and that's about it...

A real Digg for fashion (albeit mainly street fashion) is HypeDiss.com. They have a great platform, well designed widgets, etc, but like much of the streetwear scene it's a really small market, though a highly influential and trendsetting one.

I think it will take time for women users to understand the benefit of sites like these. Morever, it's good that these sites are niche and not targeting the general population. will they be as big as Myspace, probbaly not, but that's not their intention anyway, I suppose.
