In the title you say that Windows Mobile users can take advantage of Google Sync.
You mean that there's a specific SyncML addon for Win Mobile 5/6.5?
If yes, could you provide a shortcut/link to reach it, without googling too much?

    Thank you

This I like! Thanks for that. Pity it doesn't work for Apps for Domains yet. Odd that google's premium services are so far behind the others often...

This was actually already possible thanks to a nifty tool called nuevasync but thanks for the update

It's great to see people playing nice. This is good news for the future of managing the data you own on google services.

So does this mean there is true push for Gmail also?

At last touch, Gmail offered only fetch or IMAP, which was close to push but wouldn't download anything from the server.

    Any clarification is greatly appreciated!

This is GREAT with a big BUT...Exchange is a business tool and if people have exchange accounts they are already using them for their work. So now I can't use it for my personal calendar with Google because I only get one exchange????? This does NOT help me...GOOGLE-can you fix this? Apple can you fix this????? You are STILL missing a market!

I did a quick write up for getting Google Sync working with Google Apps for your Domain; calendar and contacts. I have mine working - YAY! And I this helps the others who are stuck like I was...

This looks great! I already have MobileMe because I got sick of not having the syncing features I wanted from Google. I eventually want my calendar, contacts and everything to be in the cloud through Google but until they make it as easy, reliable, and "baked in" as MobileMe I'll stick with Apples solution.

I would like to know how using MobileMe and GoogleSync both in conjunction would work out... Sounds like a recipe for data loss or duplication. :)

@andy peters - Thanks! Looking forward to trying this with Google Apps for my domain!

If you're a Google Apps user, you'll need to enable Google Sync in the control panel. If you don't have an option called "Mobile Settings" under "Service Settings" on the control panel, you need to set your control panel to "Next Generation".
