They received a DMCA from Comedy Central, so in theory they should have nuked the lot.  One strong pattern I noticed was clip length - the clips that were taken down tend to be the longer ones (more than 1 minute).  A 4 second clip is probably fair use, and hence will stay on the site.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anyway, you're really putting out some great, well-researched posts at the moment.  Putting Mashable to shame (but I love reading them!).
