A service I am using as main twitter client forced me to send out a promotional tweet in order to upgrade to version 2.0 of their service.  I love the service but didn't like being forced to send out a tweet without being able to edit it. Their tweet included a bit more enthusiasm than felt genuine, despite my love of their service, including a Please RT! request.
