sheetster.com just came out with version 2 which is the first and only web spreadsheet supporting reading/writing of Excel 2007 files...

it's also open source under the GPL so you can download sheetster server (ExtenXLS 360) and run on your own computer(s). because it's open-source you can embed it in your own applications and customize it to taste.

well! the list contained only major players, there are several other online spreadsheet providers which are on par with all the above listed ones, one among them is eDeskonline-Free online Spreadsheets

Expresso is a time saver. I no longer have to wait around for someone to email me their updates. I can log in anytime, day or night and see what changes have been made. I can even track cells that are important to me by using expresso track cells feature. It will even send me an e-mail as soon as that field was changed. It will tell me what was there before and what is there now. I love it!

Peepel offers an offline mode, we are still at early stages with it yet - but it is functioning.

Open your file(s)
Pull network plug (and sit on beach ;) )
Continue working with already opened Peepel files
Reconnect to network at end of day to resave your files.

Um, JotSpot has been down for two days straight -- page requests direct you to a NetSol domain parking page. Looks like Google may not be taking its "Cloud" computing rhetoric too seriously.

I love Google Docs sharing documents with others has made it easier. It has plenty of features, once they have offline support everyone would love to use it.

I have been using google docs for a while and they are very reliable. Haven't tried the others yet.
